In July 2016, Dynniq secured a place on the Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) Professional Services framework - a four year (2016-20) multi-disciplinary, transport consultancy framework. TfGM is an executive body of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), with a vision of ‘’driving the growth of a healthy and sustainable Greater Manchester through the delivery of a reliable, integrated transport network.’’ TfGM does this by working with Greater Manchester’s ten district authorities, public and TfGM’s overall aims private sector partners, and national and regional government.
TfGM’s overall aims for the framework contract are:
The GM Agreement between Greater Manchester and central government gives the conurbation a broad set of devolved powers, including health and social care, business support, spatial planning and, most importantly for TfGM, transport. This gives TfGM the opportunity to transform transport connectivity across all modes. In turn, it means Greater Manchester can develop its full potential as a modern, vibrant and prosperous city region that can compete on the international stage.
Professional services are provided on a call-off basis to TfGM and affiliated organisations including GMCA, Transport for the North (TfN), Rail North, Passenger Transport Executive Group (PTEG),the constituent local authorities in Greater Manchester and Cheshire West & Chester Council.
Dynniq successfully tendered for the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) lot. In addition, there will be opportunities to team with successful consultancies on the lots for other professional services during the course of the framework period.
